Proposal 7

Title: a walk in art

  • Concept

  1. I want to put down mats in a museum of gallery that measure the direction of someone walking through the gallery over the mats. They also measure how long someone stands in one place. The data that the mats get will be displayed on screens that compile the data from all the mats to create an image based on the patterns of the viewers from that day. The previous days data/art will be shown so that there is an incentive for people to come back to see the image from when they were there the last time.

  2. Questions

  3. How many mats?

  4. Where are the important places to place the mats?

  5. Where would this be best take place?

  6. How do I build the mats?

  7. Should I learn basic electrical engineering for this?

  • Materials

  1. Mats

  2. Electronics that I don’t know yet
